Equipment

Alright, I'm 4 days away! Right now I'm kind of nervous but mostly excited just to start. I was double checking my equipment tonight and figured it would be a good time to take a picture of my 50 or so items I will be living off for the next 4 weeks. Not shown is my tent, pac, sleeping bag, and food... yet those are probably the most important items.

So apparently you can't comment on my blog if you are not a gmail member??? that is pretty lame if you ask me and if I'd known that I would not have set this up through them... however, since it is already up and running I guess if you wanna comment either do it on my facebook (which you have to  a member of as well) or start a gmail account. (thanks Kelly, Chauncy, and Matt) Thank you soo much for the perimeter boot I can not wait to get on the trail with them; so far all I have done is wear them to work and frisbee golfing. Super comfortable even on the first day, I was suprised that I didn't have to "break them in".

Less than 2 weeks away!

So my trip is quickly approaching! I am less than 2 weeks from flying into Atlanta where I will stay with my Aunt, have a steak with my parents, and sleep in a comfy bed for the last time in 4 weeks. My pac is already packed and has been for a few weeks lol; it's the waiting that is the worst part. Right now my pac is just under 30 lbs and that is with out food so I'm guessing with food it will be closer to 40. I want to put up a picture soon of everything I will be carrying with my on my journey.
